Alex and I visited San Miguel de Allende for the first time back in April 2018. We celebrated our good friend’s union and immediately fell in love with this city.
From the beautiful architecture to the most amazing hospitality, we knew we wanted to get married here eventually.
Not so long after that our time came around and we got engaged. By this time, we knew we did not want to have the typical Texan wedding.
We wanted our guests to create a memory that would be as memorable to them as our wedding day to us.
For our planning we decided to go with Estrella from Penzi. Out of many other wedding planners we interviewed, Estrella gave us peace of mind. She listened carefully to every single detail we mentioned. She was the reason Alex and I were able to check our dream wedding off of our checklist.
For our venue, we went with Instituto Allende. Instituto Allende’s panoramic view took our breath away. It highlighted the beauty of San Miguel with the hand painted murals on the walls, the paved stones all throughout, and not to mention the arched entryways that screamed elegance.
In the end, everything came together so perfectly!! Our guests were mesmerized! They could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was and we couldn’t stop thanking Estrella and her team. Once again, we are extremely grateful for all the vendors that made our dream wedding come to life!
